I've tried a lot of things, and through every win and lesson learned, one thing became clear: making money is great, but doing it with intention and balance is even better.
That's why I created The Mindful Biz Owner—a space for ambitious entrepreneurs who want to build multiple streams of income without sacrificing their peace. I've navigated the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, from launching new ventures to figuring out business credit, marketing, and scaling. Now, I want to be a resource for others looking to do the same.

Hey there! I'm a Student Affairs professional and serial entrepreneur based in Chicago, IL. By day, I support students in higher education, and by night (and let's be real—most of the time in between), I'm building businesses and finding new ways to secure the bag.
I'm currently pursuing my doctorate, where my research focuses on how Black women in higher education practice mindfulness and self-care. Through this work, I've realized something important: hustle culture is overrated. Don't get me wrong—I love the grind, but I've learned that true success isn't just about making money; it's about creating balance, being intentional, and making room for joy.
That's why I started The Mindful Biz Owner—to help ambitious entrepreneurs build wealth without burning out. Here, we talk business, mindset, and mindfulness, because getting to the money is great, but keeping your peace is priceless.
